Although ICANN "moderates" world domains, GoDaddy themselves can increase prices accordingly. They aren't a reseller; they are an actual accredited domain name registrar, unlike Namecheap, who is a reseller off Enom.Raymond said:It's not a rumor it's true. True that, but VeriSign doesn't "need" to raise prices by a significant amount as there are plenty of domain registrars which can make them money.Gimgak said:Yeah, but they're at the hands of verisign too.
