Should you really go over-the-top to celebrate, even for small achievements
Whether if it's a high-school graduation or even a job promotion, apparently friends and family have to celebrate these achievements in the most over-the-top and foolishly positive way possible, wasting money and time for such activities.
And don't me started about birthdays..
Sure it's okay to be a little over-the-top, when a child turns five, learns to walk, reads their first book or something.. but going over-the-top for the so called "Sweet Sixteen"?
Please... when I turned sixteen, all I got was a cake,a anime DVD(Chobits) and a Playstation 2 game(Guilty Gear XX:Accent Core Plus) and I didn't care about getting a car.
Plus, two of my three friends helped me celebrate, at least having them there made me even happier.
Which brings up another point.. children nowadays are spoiled too much, but I'll discuss that at a later time..
