Governments to restrict internet?

They haven't officially said they are bringing it in yet, i doubt they will, there is so many people that do not want the filter, including child protection groups around the country, it won't work, it's so easy to get past anyone with a single piece of software can get around it.

It's a pathetic idea which i don't think will come to anything, and the guy organizing it obviously doesn't know what he is on about as it is so full of loop holes and faults.

Not sure if you're referring to the Australian one there, but yes, it was confirmed a few days ago and will be implemented sometime next year. :shake:

Yes i was referring to the Australian one, didn't know that. Better download my software then 😛

They could potentially clamp down on the World Wide Web, which is owned by ICANN. But that would be pure political suicide. Also, the ISPs, maybe not the American ones, but certainly the other ones world wide wouldn't like it. They'd probably just set up a new rival Web.
