This used to be by nipz.org as in the hacked by that person but changed to TeaMp0ison. They have hacked to many sites. They have also hacked my favorite sites. They should be jailed! They took out one of my most favorite sites but its back up at least. Back then when it was called nipz.org vpyro.com 🙁 they hacked so many sites. Its not funny! I happen to know their forum and their admin's MSN >🙂 so i am basically spying on what they are doing sort of. Yet again trying to prevent another hacking on my favorite sites

This hackers group is prob one of the most infamous. (from what i know)

EDIT:
Mods if this is not appropriate please just delete and notify me thankyou 🙁 i just felt their should be a warning to what is going on recently to a lot of sites

It's fine - Nathan.

It really depends on the severity of the crime, but at the least, they should have all internet priveleges removed.

There are some good hackers.. but i bet there are barely a single one. They instead of ruining sites. they hack phishers and turn them into a warning that the site is a phisher and stuff. i have seen it 🙂 but its very rare for me to see it :-\ it was only once..

It depends if they're real hackers or some script kiddies like Oliver was. If the latter, then yeah no need for those losers. Hackers aren't all black hat, believe it or not the very people who make anti virus software are hackers, and many of them may have been black hat hackers before they got jobs protecting data instead.

Besides, there are more important things to deal with on the internet. CP is frequent and those who distribute it aren't caught much, so I doubt it'd be easy to catch black hat hackers either who know a lot about the web and computers.

Lost of computer rights would be fair if they damage someone's site or steal private information.

I agree with the above comments, but, when considering what hacking is, its also your fault for having a bad password, or having a widely known IP address, or making yourself known on the Internet. Its contributory negligence, and so you do take some role in helping them hack (not that I'm supporting hacking). Not many realize that they in fact give out clues to hackers which then makes their life much easier. So, do they get punished for hacking, or do they get off for your own fault in leaking information?

Hacking ~
Wikitionary said:
Unauthorized attempts to bypass the security mechanisms of an information system or network.

Therefore its part of hacking.

Internet Privilidges took of them and jailed for a long time, but suppense on what you call hacking, as most people give out their account details to complete strangers and the powers that you could have on that account, so basically that;s your fault but if the user attacks your forum without any details given out then that's a diferrent story.

But guessing passwords isn't really bypassing it.

Hacking=breaking a window or door
Cracking=going in through the front door.

No, there are methods of getting the password, like hacking into a database, then retrieving that password, for example.

Some Hackers are fine, they help put people behind bars and stop horrible things from happening on the internet.

But then there are people who do it for fun, honestly, just get over it, there's no stopping them, and if you try to retaliate it will only get worse.

Loss of computer rights. Seems fair, you drive drunk you loose your liscense, you hack, you loose your internet.

Seems very fair. Just like that good hacker that hacked into the FBI database to show them a backdoor they had and he tried to help them but they put him in jail and took his computer rights for the rest of his life.

Let's see...

How do you lose internet privileges when you can just go to a friend's house and use his/her computer, or go to the library, et cetera?

You can apply that logic to just about any form of crime. There will always be somebody breaking the law, but that doesn't mean you should let them walk free.

Loss of internet privileges for starters. If they had a history, then other appropriate actions may be needed. Perhaps reimbursement of the hosting charges for the downtime you experienced.
