Im not being rude, but I wish you the best in your future. I just think it's a bit silly asking for free money. When no one has no idea who you are, what you do, if you're real or not. Your background/etc.
Your best bet would to make a youtube video and explain your life and cry out so people can feel sorry for you, so they will donate. If anyone donated to someone that just made a topic asking for money w/o knowing anything about the OP should be ashamed of themselves. It's the internet, anyone can pose as anyone and do anything. You guys are way to gullible.
My parents are unable to help as they don't have much either. I don't want to borrow from the bank because that will be too much for when I get Student Loans when I start University.
The Access to HE course simply gives me the certificate to gain entry to University, providing I pass with 45 merit of course.
Once I have completed the HE and apply for University, then I will be entitled to student finance.
So taking out a bank loan, plus student loans is way too much.
Kim, you don't (or at least shouldn't) need to be explaining yourself this much. People, if you don't trust her, then don't donate to her. That goes for any internet donating. Sure, you don't KNOW them, but I don't know you and you don't know me, but that's okay. Again, if trusting people on the web isn't your thing, then don't. It's all up to you. No need to question their humble thread for an hour about it though.
Well if you are really serious about your educational goals, then you'll have to deal with "too much" for a while until you can get it paid off. I cannot see you realistically getting any substantial amount of money from people's sympathy on the internet.
That's the most ignorant thing I've ever read. The fact that there are way more people searching for jobs than available jobs is proof enough that it's not easy to get a job. Some of the most hard-working people with decades of experience have been out of work for over two years. Demand also plays a factor too. There may be tons of jobs when you enter studies for a field, but they can easily be filled by the time you get out.
Simply saying that she's "lazy" and making excuses shows that you know absolutely nothing about how the world works.
I agree, especially speakwhatsreal his posts are crossing the line. :shake:
Like the OP said it has been done tons of times before what she is trying to do now. Gain support - exposure ore even donations to make it possible what she wants to do financially.
It has been done before and worked out well for some and for others not that well.
All she can do is give it a try and see how it goes with getting money from this.
The most important thing is trying through any means possible and not giving up. 🙂
Kim, I admire you for making the effort to get to college and for doing voluntary work in order to improve your CV. Currently, there is far more unemployment all across Europe than there was seven years ago. That means that there are a lot of people who have already shown that they are willing and able to work, who currently can't get jobs, because of the recession.
Have you any skills that you could use to sell services on a part time basis?
Have you considered other options, perhaps a blog related to psychology (or other topic that interests you) or an eBay business.
Good luck with everything, I hope that it works out for you.
Don't be a hypocrite, your posts on your youtube pages and your posts on my promo video are crossing the line as well. (Heck even my Forum Promotion Profile comments)

I live in Blackpool and it is hard to even get a job cleaning toilets here, Most of the UK is the same. It has nothing to do with laziness at all, Obviously there are some people who are not motivated to get a job but the majority DO want work. Do you think people enjoy people calling them lazy and spongers? Do you think people enjoy making a fool of themselves asking for help online?
I make my own money to get by doing various things but I can't get a real job. I have tried and still try, It just ain't going to happen when 800 people are applying for the same job cleaning toilets that have more A levels than me.
There are people out there that do not want to work... there are equally people out there that do want to work but it does take time. I can assure you from past experience that it is not nice when people automatically assume that as you haven't got a job that you are not wanting to work. She seems to be trying to make something of her life. She could be sitting at home all day drinking alcohol and watching daytime tv but she is wanting to do something worthwhile. Give her some credit atleast for trying to do something and try to remember that not everyone is lazy and not willing to work and you "shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush".
If she was lazy and not wanting to work, I don't think she would be wanting to go to college or volunteering. We have no reason or evidence she doesn't want to work. On face value, what she has said to me shows she wants to make something of her life.
I hate to say it but you aren't alone and that fact that your situation is so common that it would be difficult to expect anyone to really give you any money.
What makes you so special that you deserve a handout over all the other people who are facing a similar situation?
Not trying to be mean but many people are going to look at your donation page and ask themselves that question. What answer will you have for them?
On top of that is the fact that people really aren't all that generous and are likely to just assume you just want free money for yourself and not what you claim it's for. You may very well mean what you say but most won't believe it. I hope you have another plan that is more then this donation page because you are going to need it as I don't see it funding your education.
As for Speakswhatreal, this is the same man who couldn't be bothered to provide his own content when trying out for Postloop or own up to his mistakes and yet he thinks he is the standard bearer for who does or doesn't have character around here? I think he's the last person to be judging anyone on their character to be honest.
