I dunno, few years back actually had a site of mine hacked and it said something similar to his joke lol


not really racist, not as if Arab people have a reputation for hacking, if he wrote russian nation would it be fine? 😛

Arab nation though? it's a bit like a being robbed and the first thing the police ask is "did the black guy have any distinctive features?"

I know it's an April fools but it's always best to tone it down then stepping on anyones toes especially as your running a community.

Also not trying to ruin the fun go ahead and ignore this just making sure you're partially aware of any potential consequences of this joke.

i have seen things like this on actual hacked forums, i want to make it as realistic as possible, its not at all racist and i have nothing against arabs.

it is april fools lol and once they realize its an elaborate joke they will find it amusing, most of my members have a sense of humor.

As you are all aware, we had a little security breach earlier which involved a serious hack attempt. I say attempt, it was a success, but because of our dedicated staffs activity we were able to stop the attackers, also known as The Arabs (or whatever). This will not be happening again (unless it does) but we will be ready for it.

But the joke was good.

That was not me who posted that nor was it intended to offend or insult any user, member, religon, race or culture. He just chose his word's badly in a politicly correct world.

If any forum ever pulled a joke like that on me, I would not go back to that forum. It's bad enough that plenty of forums get hacked during the summer, and I would probably take offense to it and not be back at that community anytime soon. You can say I don't have a sense of humor all you like, but my take on it is that jokes about forums being hacked should never be tolerated as they are not funny at all.
