Thanks thats good advice!

I have edited all my links lol

I would actually link the entire "Taylor Swift Forum". Your domain is that exactly and it would really help as "Taylor Swift" probably has a bazillion sources by now.

I'm for the keyphrase "health forums" with my healthforums. Also I noticed that it already ranks on page #6, but is still doing the dance.

Ofcourse, I too achieved such kind of top ranking for a particular keywords by making links for anchor text. It gives better results than others.

That's pretty much, a basic information about doing Google up age in rank

But you guys don't even think that it might look just a bit suspicious if 90% of the links to your site are links to your homepage with the same anchor text?

Yes, and it's better to be diverse anyways. Besides, you might be aiming to be first on an irrelevant search topic if you're not careful.

Well this is why you must take care and research your target text. Google keyword analyzer will give you a good idea on how often a term is searched... from there you compare the strength of your site versus your competitors and determine if that text is a good target for you at that point.

In my case, "Good" wasn't a very hard term to rank on, so I spent more of my focus on "Goodl" which I am making strides in, but still is a bit away. Either way I average a good amount of google hits per day and that's what the aim is.
