So far beyond Postloop, ForumPromotion, and a few friends I've been unable to get actual users to join my forum. I've optimized speed and setup a nice theme. What are some other things I can do to get my forum started?

Net-Steals said:Since I am pretty much done promoting sites here,(though none of them seems to be interested...), I've decided to search for some good forums to post in, so if you want me to post on your forums, simply E-mail me at: [email protected]. PM'ing me won't really get me noticed however, for, I won't log in here as much as I did before, and I will be busier than ever at my work and updating and improving my sites, so... Sending me E-mails will get me sooner, for I always check it. I decided to help out some of forums out there if it meets my interest, though it's only ONE member myself, since I've been there as I am desperately looking for new members.
The interest I am in are Video Games(mostly Fighting Games, and Action, or Auto Racing), Cars, among others, I am not into politics, current affairs and what not. So... I am only going to sign up to Forums, no Blogs(since I know nothing about blogs), so if you want me on your forum, well... If you have seen me from around the net posting(I go by the name GrandPrix08, and/or OnlyTanyaFan, along with Net-Steals), you KNOW I am frequent and I rarely leave any site unless they kick me out or insult me or something.
Good luck in getting new members on your forums. As far as tips go, Well, only thing I can say is, start small by inviting your friends first, and treat them nice, so they can invite THEIR friends as well, which actually happened for me about 10 years ago on my, now dead, very first forum, back in 2005, but it should be no different nowadays as well, after that, submit your site with the correct keywords, to the search engines and open directories(where Search Engines automatically search and list it) and let the word out and wait. As I am NOT a very successful person in that area, that's the only thing I can say, as I NEED help as well. Hey, that's why we are all here for? Aren't we?
