How do you deal with anxiety

I found that a divorce cured a lot of my marital and day to day stress problems. A lot of that had to do with me being on medication for anger and depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. Once I quit sharing an apartment with my ex wife. I got a lot better. Sometimes change really helps.
 
I'm very lucky in that I don't suffer from depression unless there is a specific reason for it but if I feel down I have to leave the house and take a walk. For some reason that always seems to help.

My friend has a son who suffers from serious depression and he took up running which he found helped. Exercise definitely seems to lift the mood.
 
Anxiety is subject to your emotion or let me rather say it's an emotional disorder. Dealing with requires dealing with your emotion first.
