Marketing’s always on the move with new platforms, new algorithms, new ways to reach people. It feels like there’s always something new to learn.

How do you stay on top of everything?

Do you have any routines, favorite sites, or tips you use to keep up with marketing trends?

I don't. I worry about my site, and not what other sites are doing around me. If I see something I like. I may implement it into my own site. I do check sites such as this one, and try to learn/grow from other admins, and stay updated that way.

I don't either but I think we are probably in the minority.

I do try and keep up with current market trends but all the forums I own or run provide a service so there is no need to attract new members.

I follow marketing and SEO companies on social media, mostly on Facebook.

I follow a few trusted sources like Search Engine Journal, Marketing Brew, and Reddit’s r/marketing for daily updates. I also set aside 15–30 minutes a week to skim newsletters or watch summaries on YouTube.

I’m not so much too hot on marketing trends. I am more interested in running my work diligently and staying current in my profession. .

I am very careful with click-through rates vs interactions. It is easy to get boosts in clicks and views, but actually turning those into something useful is much more of a challenge. Otherwise, I generally just try new things and focus on what works while still adding new items to the list.

I've been into marketing, SEO, and everything in between for decades.

Personally, I keep up with the trends by following blogs, websites, and newsletters that talk about it. I also listen to podcasts when I'm driving alone to and from work and other places. Most of them are marketing related.

Lastly, I try to do the marketing activities as much as possible. I try to get that experience in.
