A dry start with some brighter spells but it will be rather cold. Thickening cloud will bring spells of rain in from the west through this afternoon. Brisk winds.

We were so good for the last little while without snow, having above freezing temperatures, and then it snowed this morning.

Pretty miserable right now. It was sunny earlier but just dark clouds right now.

Tonight it will be cloudy and misty with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle pushing eastwards. Light winds. Milder than last night.

Overcast through this morning with spells of rain, which will be heavy and persistent at times. However, through the afternoon the rain will tend to ease but it will remain mainly cloudy.

We've had the end of the Cyclone. Well ex cyclone. Almost every part of New Zealand has had state of emergencies.

The weather today is great, not too hot or cold, not too much sun due to the partly cloudy conditions, and there are no signs of raining. Perfect day for a walk outside.
