How Much Internet Data Do You Need?

I did have fibre at the old house which is called NBN here in Australia but there still rolling it out so stuck on weak ADSL2+ untill they finished rolling it out here.

Australia is so late and laid back that it's not funny

right now because everyone is on gaming & streaming the connection is 0.40 the max when no one is on or doing much is 3mbps

it's unlimited wifi though.

I only got 5GB monthly on a usb dongle is this enough to run a site or anything or heavy internet browsing?

You are not the only one. And I'm glad to came around to reading this topic.

Believe it or not I'm on the same system as you are. I use Telstra prepaid mobile stick/USB. I get 5GB which doesn't expire in 365 days. But in reality I use it all up in two weeks if lucky. For 5GB it costs me $50 each time when I recharge. In a month I probably spend over $100.
Anyway I don't really watch youtube and when I do, it's not that long and after I seen one or two that's it I don't watch anymore. I own a couple of sites and active on many other's, so other wards I'm a very heavy browser guy I spend allot.

When I'm not doing hard work, for example I'm studying certificate four in information technology and running sites and posting and reading on others, I play allot of online gaming with others and mostly myself. Today I spent 2 hours in ets2 multiplayer and then allot of world of tanks afterwards. So in two weeks I do that.

Now you guys probably going to say that you can't do that in a week. Well you are right. Like I said I'm a student and I go to college. I spend around 6 hours at college 4 times a week and I use 30gb or even more at college. And that's how I uploaded my 120 youtube videos and got to download my games and other downloads. Whirl I'm up there I use allot.

It's complicated now that I got wifi back I have already used 19.39GB 15 days in to the month and that's only on my phone a lone so I use probably 50 - 100GB monthly when I don't have to slow down and resrict myself

But like I said speed isn't the best at times but I suppose it's ok untill fibre comes out fully

Monthly I use like 50-60 GB because that's the limit on some companies here but most of them offer unlimited traffic for 10Euros or less ( like 12-15 USD ) and you download with more than 8Mbps.

On that 60 GB I include my mom tablet and telephone, a PC my phone.

Around 35 per month for 3gb + unlimited text and calling.

I use a 2-3gb plan on my phone, not sure how much of it I actually use but I used to surpass my 1gb plans before so I guess 1-2gb on average. I use them for browsing, mobile gaming and short videos on youtube from time to time. My wifi at home is not speedy but it's unlimited, depends on what I feel like doing sometimes I download big free games clients from steam, delete them because I don't think I'll actually play and redownload over and over, but mostly I use it for listening to youtube playlists non stop and browsing.

I'd say about 5 gigs if I use radio apps like Pandora and Spotify.

I'm currently on a 2 gig plan and it usually runs out within a couple weeks (if I am using the radio apps) but sometimes it lasts the month (if I am not using the radio apps).

Radio apps suck data up quick! I usually use around 5GB sometimes more, it all depends!

I'm a gamer, and it depends from month to month. Game Updates and Online Multiplayer use a ton though. Like I would say 50GB a month.
