How much is my forum worth?

The forum looks great and has a lot of posts. Is it generating any revenue?
 
No revenue huh. Well, I would need to know traffic stats and the such but you would probably get (providing traffic is pretty good) at least $300 for it.
 
The forum has over 600 members, But if you were making any money it would be worth a good bit more. So it is worth a few hundreds.
 
If you can generate revenue and its like $10 per month, your forum could be worth at least $500.

What about a site that genrates $100 a month?

Normally people base their payments on 12 month revenue or something like that.

So,

12x$100 = $1,200
Then the forum would be worth atleast $1,000 on it's own.

I say, if you were looking at selling FFF, ask for a starting bid of $2,500.
 
Cool, though don't they usually go by a couple of years of revenue and not just one. Like if it was making $1,200 a year they would add up 2-3 years worth and then the site? That's what I've seen a few people do.

I'm not sure really. I've heard they only base it on a half year/year, but i may be wrong, even so, it's still a nice sum.

If so, I would probably say about $1200-$1800, depending on the forum and its own factors.

If you are talking about FFF, to the right buyer, you would get the $1200 with ease. Solid stats and SERPs.
 
TBH I think I could get more than $1200. I know for sure if it's likely to be more in June.

Right buyer, right time. Is June some milestone mark?
 
right now, 300-450$. Start making revenue on your forum lets say, 30-50 a month and those prices will fly through the roof.
 
How would I do that? I don't really feel like setting up AdSense, seeing as they don't pay to PayPal and they tend to ban everybody who seems to make a decent amount of money from it.
 
I mean if you are going to sell it, put ads on there. Buyers look for revenue. If not, dont bother.
