How much is your internet service?

This is officially the FASTEST internet speed I've ever had. For $65/month after taxes and fees...I think it's not bad. I've paid more for less! lol

that's mine 😀 right now! Mind you, that's with four people playing wow, nother on PS live gaming, and me doing random shiz...

Though, when i get off the network everyone is using and switch to 5G i get this...

I pay around £15-£20 per month for 30mb broadband. It's really fast, although, for some reason it stops working occasionally for a few mins and comes back on again.

My ISP just had a drastic change in terms of plans and pricing in an attempt to match the competition. I paid a whole darn lot for only 200 Mbps, but their new plan is now only asking roughly £40 for 100 Mbps. Well, colour me interested... having said that, I switched to that new plan in a heartbeat. Still no caps whatsoever, so it's an amazing deal.

Since I downgraded, they called me to ask if I want to sign up for their 1 Gbps plan. We are finally getting fast internet, but it strikes fear in my heart just anticipating the price; they still haven't announced it. If it's somewhere around £300, they got themselves a customer. It's more or less what I paid previously for merely 200 Mbps.

Competition is such a magical thing.

EDIT: Wow! It's a lot cheaper than I expected. My ISP called me earlier today and quoted me £130 for 1 Gbps — easiest decision ever.

$95 bundled with cable as well. Idk what my bandwidth is. My average download speed is about 2MBPS.

It's crazy how FAST internet is now. At some point I start to wonder if the naked eye can tell a difference. I see 1Gbps being advertised with AT&T however it's not available in my area right now. To be honest I'm pretty content with my 200mbps connection.

Yep.

And to think I was only on dial-up seven years ago. 100 Mbps is definitely sufficient for many; the only time 1 Gbps makes a difference is during large downloads or buffering HD movies without interruption whatsoever. I rely heavily on the cloud to keep many of my files and the upgraded speed is also noticeable there.

...ah, and for some reason I get fair download/upload with the 1 Gbps plan. Speedtest shows me 995 download and 950 upload; previously while on 100 Mbps the upload was always stuck at 20. I'm now very satisfied for cloud purposes and uploading videos.
