I do backup my computer regularly on my external hard drives. I backed it up regularly especially when I have large files, games or large movies that I want to protect.
I always set my computer to backup itself to Google Drive everyday. I know that I won't remember to back it up daily and I can't risk a sudden loss of files because of forgetting to backup
I don't store many files locally, but I have an external SSD for backups. I just create manual backups as needed. I also have certain things sync to cloud storage.
Every time my MacBook is plugged in it backs up wirelessly to a Time Machine backup attached to another Mac in my basement. I have recently gotten a second backup drive I am leaving at my dad's house to back up whenever I'm there as a second, off-site backup in case of extreme emergency (like a fire or something).
Honestly not as often as I should. I have some things saved on my One Drive account, some things saved on Google Drive but other than that I don't have any physical backups and I should make some backups of important files I want to save. I have lots of SD cards and even flash drives that I could have offline backups of things.
