Who would have guessed?

I don't see how this is funny, really. It's more of a how-to guide than anything.

LOLOLOLOLOL

It is funny, because its not a how to as much as it is a parody. But I think print screen was on windows 95 also right. So they always had that. Hence it is funny to see somebody try to do that.

lol

Probably wouldn't work though.

Try aiming a digital camera at a monitor and look and the picture...

Ya. I think LCDs might be better than CRTs. But the joke still remains.

As a side note if you wanna take a screenshot of something that cannot normally be screenshotted (Like the bootscreen of an OS) you can run a VM that way the host OS is fully running and capable of taking a screenshot of what's in the VM... Except for maybe BIOS screenshots because a VM would give you a different BIOS than a physical machine...

Always had that? lol.... Windows didn't begin with Windows 95.... I remember as far back as Windows 3.1
Can't remember if that had a Print Screen option.

I think 3.1 wasn't even the first.

There was Windows 2.0, and maybe earier ones although they just looked like DOS Shells.

3.1 was a DOS Shell but it looked more like an OS than 2.0...

Some programs start before 1.0, ex 0.9.8

Usually for betas I think...

Haha, that's funny.
I'm pretty sure the Mac OS's had a screenshot function since a while ago too. Not sure when that started.
