Haha, that's funny.
I'm pretty sure the Mac OS's had a screenshot function since a while ago too. Not sure when that started.

I did it in Mac OS 8.5 and maybe 7.

Command Shift #

Where # is 3 for full screen and 4 makes a selection thing for part of the screen. I think that one either made a file or copied to the clipboard.

There were 4 combos:

1. Whole screen to file
2. Whole screen to clipboard
3. Part screen to file
4. Part screen to clipboard

Yep, it's like that to this day. It makes a file wherever it's set to. You can change it, but the default is on the desktop.
Not sure if you can make it set to clipboard anymore. The whole clipboard thing was way more important back in OS 7, 8, and 9, for some reason.

Windows still uses the clipboard.

I like how in Linux (Ubuntu and Fedora atleast) you can pick
