I have a confession to make...

I don't get the big deal about people pretending to be people they aren't on forums. Like big whoop, you're 6 years younger than you said you were and you're probably still in high school. The only big deal about somebody pretending who they aren't is if they are really under 13, violating COPPA.

I have a confession to make: I'm not really Kim Jong-il. I'm not Kim il-Sung or that weirdo Kim dude that's in charge of that country these days either. I'm a bored college (university for those non-USA people) student who spends copious amounts of time on a forum who's genre doesn't apply to me any more. I am not in charge of a country with developing nuclear technology, instead I am occasionally in charge of a few stoned useless college students that work in a fast food restaurant. I am not responsible for a famine killing a large amount of my country's people, instead I have a closet full of snax and a refrigerator stocked with juice, milk and Gatorade.
Yay you strayed completely off this topic to make a political statement that has no bearing on this matter(I think they call those people Trolls or close to it bud) 🙂

Sure you are....... 😛
Thats enough please. This is a serious topic for Jake so keep it that way.

Okay theezy. No more joking. I really am 15 years old.

Your profile says you're we by the way! 🙂 Might want to change that.

Changed lol 😛

Thanks for the support and forgiveness (as well as the trolls).

Ive never really taken the time to get to know you, but meh it does not really bother me that you lied. If you were 21 pretending to be 15, that would bother me.

Saying that, I know there are other people on this forum who are lying about their age but thats another story

Don't feel bad for having done what you did since you've already apologised. 🙂 I'm sure no one will hold anything against you in any way, and your sincerity can be felt. You did it probably for a good reason too; not everyone is comfortable revealing their true identity on the internet since it can be pretty risky. This might have been troubling you for a long time, so I'm glad you got the relief you deserve. 🙂

There was nothing off topic about that. I was confessing that I was not a leader of an Eastern Asian country, similar to how Jake confessed that he wasn't a 21 year old air force pilot. And nothing about that was political, so I don't know what you're really talking about  . (I think they call those people confused or close to it bud) :great:

Don`t worry about it Jake, lots of people make up things about them self on the internet. When I was 11, I told the internet I was 17, because I didn't want to be the youngest person around. I am 15 now. It might take a while for people to trust you again but it is good you are telling the truth 🙂

Glad to see the truth come out Jake 🙂
although I always thought you where 14-15 and just used those pics because they where cool.

Haha, I didn't know it was that obvious 🙂
Thanks for your forgiveness.

I wouldn't worry about it guy. It's the internet, it's totally fine to pretend to be someone else. I mean, I get that you feel that dirtiness from lying but no harm, no foul.

All is swenken, stay wavy.

This isn't official till you go to a priest buddy, we can't make you say 25 hail marys

I don't see why people would be offended by saying you are an Air Force pilot...

Thats pretty cool that you are coming out with this now. But, as a former member of the USAF, you can see why I am not very happy with it. I never really knew you, but claiming to be in the U.S. military online is a serious thing. I hope you fully learned your lesson, which it sounds like you have, and can move on from this with a better perspective.

The reason I said I was in the USAF is because I'm in the USAF Auxiliary (CAP). I realize you aren't happy with it, and in the 1st or second paragraph, I ask for your full forgiveness :/

What makes lying about the military so much different from lying about working for Microsoft? It's a government program that people take seriously?

Microsoft is a multi-billion dollar company that is taken seriously as well. Even if people here know people that are close to them that are in the military and it offends them, that is understandable, but it is the Internet. What do you expect?

I forgive you, many people do the same thing as you have done and it's a good thing to come clean, as most people wouldn't.

I don't really have a problem with lying about it, but I think some people do because people die in the military. People don't die working for microsoft (or at least not in the "line of duty").

I forgive you, there are a lot of people on the internet who make up their own persona as others have said. 🙂.

Yeah, but only because people don't want to release too much information to be safe to answers of questions like (e.g. what is your age?, etc.), if I am correct.
