my favourite is the sashime (Raw salmon) for those who don't know

also prawn tempura and chicken teriyaki are delish!

I also am great at making professionally made sushi!

Also am a huge fan of deco bento If you don't know it's short for decorated and bento is sushi

I loooooooooooooove sushi!

Bento are so funny. But sushi is not always the only content of bento. As seen from the pictures they can have eggs, rice balls, sausages, and many other ornaments. I also don't think bento or sashimi is considered sushi. But I can be wrong.

But whatever! I love them all! 3

I don't really have specific favorite sushi type. I usually eat salmon or tuna or eggs. Sometimes combined with avocado and sauces I'm not very familiar with. Best spicy!

AHAHA Well said! I Agree though not everything is considered to be Bento, like the eggs and the tofu and the vegetables. But when it's decorated with sushi in a bento box, then the Japanese consider it to be deco bento.

those cute little egg hatcling deco bento's are just genius!!! specially because they'r a symbol of what their supposed to be XD!

NIGIRI!!! I just love it with the sauce they add to it! really sends my mouth watering and it looks soo delicious! grilled salmon nigiri really turns me on! XD

I love mixing it in with wasabi and soy sauce and then dipping the sushi into it.

I could never really enjoyed wasabi, not sure why. The spicy-ness is not exactly what I was looking for. I prefer pepper or chili to make it spicy. But salmon is the star indeed! Even the simple salmon or tuna maki tastes awesome.

That's true. But sometimes sushi you found in non-Japanese restaurants are rather.. strange or small, basically unsatisfying. XD

I can understand, not everyone enjoys wasabi, but I do enjoy it mixed in with soy sauce, as it dilutes the spice and makes it zesty, I also prefer tempura, I made prawn tempura sushi, first effort, I gotta say not bad, learned a few things I can improve thanks to some home critics!

My brother owns a sushi shop here in Australia where I am from, he learned it from a sushi chef the recipes and the know how in making them. to be honest though he doesn't do deco bento like I do hahaha so I'll have to go up there and show him how it's done 😛

I know! I absolutely love deco bento, it's so fun to make and looks very cool! at the moment Abu

Deco Bento shops around Melbourne or yet in in Australia are yet to come.
though in the meantime it's really very simple to make!

Wow! so artistic food presentation! Anyone would love to taste it but I don't know if they would like the taste. I have tried many Japanese food before and I didn't enjoy most of them mostly those raw and medium cooked food. 🙂

Hi LPC you mentioned you tried mostly the raw? it's an acquired taste for those who enjoy that, if you're looking for good cooked stuff you may love the tempura's and teriyaki flavours those would be more suited for you! 🙂

Personally I hate sushi! Vegetable or fish. I hate fish period I don't eat any kind of fish or seafood.

This. I HAVE to have some soy sauce + wasabi when I'm having sushi. It just doesn't feel right for me to eat sushi without those. D:

Hahahaha I can understand avocado and salmon sushi is great with soy sauce and wasabi, I don't like it with chicken teriyaki though!

How much do you add wasabi to the small bowl of soy sauce? Now that you guys said it that way with avocado and salmon sushi, I become interested in trying it next time I went to a sushi restaurant. XD
