Theres people that have done it. There just has to be a lot of hype about the forums before the launch. You wouldn't be able to do so at least by the hands of any person. If someone could do it then they would have done so and bragged about it from one side of the net to the other then proceeded to write a book and sell it to whoever would be willing to pay for it and yes someone would buy it.
So this is a hypothetical question but let's say you started a new forum, how would you gain 1,000 active users within 72 hours (there are very bad consequences if you fail)?
Shouldn't be that hard if you running another fourm or more and just post and hope for the best that they move over. I wouldn't force it on the members. Like everything else your website has to be unique in such away for them to join.
Bots won't get pass the email activation.. PEACE

I’d have to face the consequences, because that’s impossible. Unless you did something crazy like offer $20 gift cards to the first 1000 members who signed up and bought a bunch of Facebook ads to let people know of the promotion.

People just coming in for money aren't good members, in some cases.
why would you want to make bots up anyway? I mean they don't post they just make accounts..You don't think I can write bots with an email account? Is that a challenge I hear?
Not necessarily, I could write them to flood the introductions section on a forum. And to annoy a forum owner of course 😛why would you want to make bots up anyway? I mean they don't post they just make accounts..
First they need to get passed registration 😛Not necessarily, I could write them to flood the introductions section on a forum. And to annoy a forum owner of course 😛why would you want to make bots up anyway? I mean they don't post they just make accounts..
