It should be easier, but not in Poland in the 70s/80s. Part of the issue, however, was because of schooling for my mom and her siblings, I'm not exactly sure how much time that took up. My mom's family might have had it easier though, because my grandmother's parents were American citizens, not quite sure if they lived there then moved to Poland, or moved to the US and then returned to Poland. My guess is after all the issues not directly related to the immigration process, the time frame was around the same as avguste's.obama hates santa said:Why should your family have to wait 8 years? I don't quite see where this became an argument against conservatives? First off, last I checked, conservatives oppose big government, they don't hate the federal government. Second off, how do illegal immigrants pay taxes? I'm seriously asking this because all I can think of is sales tax if they buy something in a store.
