You could hire some temporary gfx designers/admins(bring up a few mods or something), and put one of the mods in charge for the time you are having your laptop fixed. When you are on, you can make topics and help your guys promote

Do you have some one close enough that can take over for you while you are going through this?
I know you don't have much time, but try to make one thread and one reply every day when you get the chance, it will sure will help your board to seem more alive even if you don't get replies, then after say two weeks of doing that, hire a package to get more post and threads with another name, if you can have two packages at the same time, it will boost a bit more, try to get at least one new members meanwhile, this person may stay after the packages are done if you keep posting a little.
Listen,, I've had restriction too and even had not to visit my boards in a while, but I squeezed every minute in making threads and stuff when i had the chance, and I got my staff from the few people around, they got my back and they are helping me right now too. Assemble a team that can genuinely care and help with your place and keep giving signs of your presence with little details.
