Is 10GB Enough??

Ok Thanks

Guess I could try with a months trial :.)

Also what data plan are you on?

In that case it should last :.)

In that case I should have a site up when devlopment is finshed.

Thanks for the help..

I have got a 15gb MIFI dongle and at the moment it is more than enough, thats playing online games, pc and ps3 downloading software, youtubing.

I thought about upgrading my plan to 20GB but i stick to 10GB for now.

10Gb = 10,00 MB
15GB = 15,00 MB

Sounds like its more then enough.

-- November 17th, 2012, 6:41 pm --

Would I be save to upload youtube videos?

Or will that use too much?

From my point of view New Zealand has expensive broadband and get ripped of in the process. I might add that 10GB can or cannot be enough. I know i have sometimes gone over 10GB a lot.

10GB download should be fine to play with (if that is a per day usage). The only thing I have to mention is the following: it says WiFi - this does NOT mean you are getting an internet connection.

Please double check the product you are buying, are you buying a "wireless" usb drive which allows you to access a wireless network, which is what WiFi is, and it has a 10GB/s speed, or are you looking to get a 3G / 4G access so you can actually have internet?

10 GB a month?

You should be fine, but just be careful with the downloading and any streaming you do.

Depending on the quality you stream you may run into your limit quicker than expected.

I guess it depends on how much you will be browsing the internet and watching videos and such. I guess give it a trail run and see how fast you use it up on a day to day basis.

This is kind of whata I was thinking as well. I really don't know much about this stuff to begin with, but I think you summed it up nicely.

10GB will be more than enough, so long as you avoid watching any streaming videos and downloading movies etc, i have a similar package because i can't get broadband in my property, i have never ran out and i am online easily 10 hours a day.

That's pretty good for someone who spends a lot of time online! I'd have thought with only ten GB to go by, a person would run out really quickly. But that's amazing that you can still use up so much and still have some to spare.

Surfing doesn't really use so much data, its the downloading and streaming that eats it up quickly.

Ah, okay. That actually makes sense when you put it that way.

Its about 200 Thousand MB.

Its also running on new fiber cables so the speeds perfect.

I don't know much about these things, but from the sounds of it, it looks like you're all set and ready to go, so I wish you the best of luck with it. You'll have to let us know how all works out!
