Oaerkae.... I can tell you, like most the home schooled , are very intelligent. You are just mis guided in you conclusions. I'll say it again, I thought the same way you did. I thought it was unfair for the "Rich" to get all the breaks. I thought just because a man lives in a life of luxury that he was taking something away from someone else. I learned I was short changing myself. For me to think that it was unfair for someone to live lavishly while I worked my butt off just to get by meant that I didn't believe in myself . Just because one person has allot does not mean there is less left over for someone else. That is simply not true. There is a unlimited amount of wealth to be grown. You grow wealth through investments, production, and consumption. Not by taxing and spending. The government does not produce one single thing, it just consumes. I cannot get one thing by government tax someone else more. I get it by hard work and my own ingenuity. This class envy crap is only hurting you and clouding your judgment. I know that I cannot change your way of thinking being you are dead set on socialism being the way to go. Just remember the things I have told .

Stogi, I am not envying the rich. I do not think that a person is corrupt just because they have money, I know that many high profile business owners are corrupt because they do take away from those of lower class. The Walden Brothers, for example. There was a little thing on them, and it tallied that a person would have to work at a Wal-mart store for over 900 years before they made what the owners of the company make in a year. They give bad insurance, they give bad pay, all in the interest of making more money for themselves.
I do not believe that the government can do everything for everyone, but making the lower class pay more taxes so the wealthy can pay less is wrong.

Lowering taxes on those who can't afford it, is one way of allowing people to grow their personal wealth, while lowering taxes on the rich is just a selfish way of allowing profit to stay on top of things.

The opinions you have come to may be based off your experiences, but I personally think your opinions are misguided, seeing as you are dead set on living a corporate life, which I believe is misguided.

I know it's wrong to tax the poor rather than the rich, that opinion isn't gonna change. Period. I'll stay open to new ideas, but if they lack ideals, count me out.

I see you've worked hard, whatever you have you've earned it, but when those of lower class work so hard only to have it all taken cause of high taxes that allow the rich to have low taxes, or to loose what they have because they're medical insurance won't cover them cause of one thing or another, that is wrong.

Think about what I've said, and don't knock socialism till you know more about it.

The poor don't pay income taxes and the taxes they do pay( property if they own any, sales, ect....) are levied on the poor and rich alike. The more a rich person spends the more taxes they pay. The higher priced their houses and boats are the more taxes they pay. They more income they have the more taxes the pay.It goes on and on. Simple as that. There is far more tax revenue from the rich... mater of fact Reagan proved if you lower the tax rates in exchange for closing loopholes the tax revenue goes up. But then Bush and Clinton added all kinds of loopholes and deductions like income and child credits that it has lowered the percentage of revenue. We can all agree there is greed and corruption at the top. It stretches from the top ceo's to congress. But , you deal with that corruption, you don't take the freedoms away from the business men & women that create jobs.

I don't hate republicans because of conservatism, I hate greedy bastards that enjoy making a profit at other people's expense. If conservatives are those greedy bastards, then there's a reason I dislike them, I personally don't think conservatives are naturally greedy, but some, like Reagan, choose to be.

Whatever Obama's FCC guy wants is off limits, even if it's true, Obama isn't going to let something like that happen.

And note the two things about your seconds statement, the word "Former", and the fact the Obama's G J czar isn't Obama. Obama is not responsible for every thought of every person that he has ever come in contact with.

I stated my point several times I believe, and I don't want to state it again. It was nice debating with you though, but I'm tired of it. I don't mean to bail during a good debate... but doing this ruined the mood I want for my music writing. Not your fault of course, but still.

Nuke, I don't think you've put one sentence together intelligently throughout this whole debate... so don't tell me that what I said what ignorant.

What I said was a sarcastic response to your statement "You hate all republicans, just because they're conservative." That my friend is ignorant, for more than one reason. Including the fact that not all republicans are conservative, as stogi so pertinently pointed out.

I understand completely.... No hard feelings . You're a good guy in my book. :great: We just see things differently. Atleast you stand for what you believe. People discussing their differences is how we grow as people.
