Now for the mirrored side...
Let's take a stroll through history, take a look at things that we have learned. Has "sex" always been something "sacred"? The simple answer is no, why not at all.
The Romans, for example, fully allowed prostitution. The also had glorious fights in the Colosseum, and even acted out myths (which included the story of the Minotaur, yes they actually had a female have sexual relations with a bull in full view of thousands of people).
What people have been the ones to say that "sex" is to be "feared" or such? I'm not attempting to offend anyone here, but the bible speaks of Eve learning the "truth" from the apple which gave us our sin, correct? If she had made such a mistake at the beginning of human life, why is it that we didn't develop as humans being against it? It wasn't until around the time that Jesus is said to have walked that we were "re-taught" that it was something to be "feared" - or rather "respected" as a deep value.
I don't see the harm in being who we are. We embrace the fact that we may have blue eyes, acne, or even be "fat" don't we? What's the difference between that, and something that is required by nature to occur being visible to the human eye?
I suppose my real question is, assuming that all human life was "restarted" - without any knowledge of how we lived before, would the first people wear clothes to hide their sexual parts, or simply for protection? 😉
I don't see sex being a bad thing, or harmful in anyway, shape, or form. However, as with anything it can be misused, in such cases as pedophiles do, which is of course, morally wrong. Speaking about sex the same as we speak about other things though, fine by me.
