Laptop or a tablet?

When Windows 8 comes out, I think the Tablet and mid-highend Laptop would be combined meaning the laptop would have a touch screen , and the keyboard can be hidden and folded away when you don't need it. Asus, Lenovo, and Microsoft showed off a few Laptop Tablet Hybirds at conferences for Windows 8, and general tech.

I think the Desktop would be best for gaming since a lot of fairly priced laptops and tablets don't have fast enough video cards to play modern games at ultra high quality settings and resolutions like a mid to high-end desktop.

Laptop for me is still the better choice. Although tablets are indeed handy whenever and wherever I go to, most of the features I'm looking for in a tablet can already be done by my phone. It is also not as easy to write things in as laptops; I prefer writing in books or papers to keep notes of something.

So why bother? 😛
