Tell be about it, I gone with every step that I can find and removed just about all things - It still COMES BACKI haven't run it for years because I've found Microsoft's built in security to be pretty robust.
I do know however that the Elex.ShrtCln trojan is quite hard to remove. If you have it these instructions should remove it but the steps involved are not for the faint hearted.

All I been doing for 24 hours is going round in cycles
Taken some time to find out what it is, but now that I know it doesn't help me know that what I have done still comes back, It's an adware that infects your browsers and the related sync data. Once you log into your Edge or Chrome account, the adware will be loaded from the server into your local profile.Are you getting it from a specific site? You aren't using the Chrome browser are you? Perhaps a browser extension is letting it in?
