When it comes down to it, it's a job. If you're good at what you do, there's no reason why you can't be making money off it.

Amsterdam have proven to th eworld that making activites such as smoking weed and protistution legal actually help. People who sit in cafe's all day smoking weed are generally looked down upon, unless you're a british tourist then you think everyone's cool.

Prostituion is a good business for some. It's the same as being a porn star, which is legal. You're getting paid for to have sex, paid to do other weird stuff etc.

- I think living by the simple rule of 'Don't be silly wrap your willy' is perfect for this, since it would reduce the amount of Std's spread through it.

- There should also be a register of people using them, and people using them should have to register and submit for STD tests to stop the prositutes getting std's anyway.

Condoms do not always prevent the spread of STDs.
As I already stated before, HIV tests can only detect HIV a minimum of 9 days after (a month after for the cheaper test). During that 9-30 day period, the prostitute can easily give HIV to somebody else.

But shouldn't it be a choice, since the government shouldn't have the right to force prostitutes to take the pills? And how would that be regulated?

Well if you read the article, it shows up in blood tests.

No it shouldn't because if they want to be sex workers they have to take every precaution possible. That's like saying the government shouldn't have the right to tell waiters and waitresses and cooks to wash their hands in the bathroom. You could even compare it to public school systems and requiring that children be vaccinated.

In reference to your last post, yes, but they severely reduce the spread of STDs. And yeah, HIV tests would be very hard to make prostitutes take though. I see your point there. It's a long drawn out procedure because they have to the Elisa? or something like that test, then after a western blot, etc, it takes a very long time. It's not like a quick blood test or a urethral check for STDs.
