These sites aren't going to generate any real traffic, but they may help you improve your search engine rankings. It's just about getting a link back to your site.

Plus when people stumble upon the pages in the search engines it dosnt look good and it could also be counted as link spam so if you abuse the tools google will slap you.

I use the auto search engine submission sites but only like once a month so not be penalized by the search engines.
