Or 'embellishing', or 'sprucing up' if you will...

Have you ever considered and/or done it?
How did it work out for you?

Oh, and the big one, has anyone been caught out in a big way?

I've definitely considered it as things have gotten harder on the job market in the past, but never actually went through with it (because I'm a wuss.)

I won't have to fill out one for quite a while in my life, but I won't consider it mainly because it would kill me because I'm an honest person, and it just would terrify me because I like to keep my identity nice and clean and just for the reason that I'm a wuss like you are... XD

Well let's put it this way. If it asks for felony charges, I won't offer any misdemeanors... 😛

Or spicing it up or "puttin the emphasis on" some lines, course weve done it... weve all did it, once in our lifetime eh?

I say I'm epic in some skills, when I'm actually very bad.. not like they'll notice right?

I think most people do that; I think it is okay... as long as it isn't too far from the truth and you could easily back it up.

My resume was edited by a professional, they put that I am good with all microsoft programs.... when In actuality I have only used Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint.

Why lie? Just be good at what you put down for your skills.

I always state that I'm a black lesbian and 1/64th cherokee, it works.

You should never lie, when the employer finds out you could be sued. It's happened.

Yeah, just don't do it, how would you feel if you lied and cheated out some poor guy who has a family and who has done everything the right way in his life?

Of course everyone exaggerates on their resume. Just exaggerate about stuff that cannot be disproved or checked. Like saying you have degree or certification in something that you dont. lol

Cause the cake is a lie, & its piece of cake to lie too... or as well.

After a few interviews with no luck, sometimes you gotta show em a little bit more to get where your going

I actually have an impressive resume so I don't really need to make stuff up. I also don't really need a job at the moment since I'm earning on my own.

this is never a good idea,

even if you do get hired, its only a matter of time before they figure out you lied,
its never good to start something off on a lie

Don't lie on a Resume, when the time comes to show your stuff, It's gonna bite you in the ass.

I'd rather starve to death than have that happen.
