Moving to new host..

I have a free and paid host you may use, we provide Cpanel 11 and you can get all the database backups you wish to get. We have Awstats and more. Click the siggy picture for the web hosting.

I've moved a Zetaboards Forum before and it was a little rough, but it worked out in the end. Forumotion works by the same theory. By the rules of this site, I can't tell you how it is done (it is apparently illegal, although that is debatable). If you really want to know, add me on MSN.

I'll tell you in advance: you will only move your members and posts, attachments, signatures, PMs etc will be lost.

It's a lot of hassle, trust me. A lot of the posts on the new site were seriously messed up - but luckily they are old ones that matter little. Also, I had the benefit of having a loyal member base. Seeing as your forum is small, it may not survive it. Trust me, the transfer is a lot of hassle.

Now about the legal element of it, it's against the TOS of many hosts - but, there is no record of cases actually being taken. So it's fairly debatable about the fine, seeing as there is no precedent.
