MyBB Got The MyBB.com

The donation bar on the site still says they need money to buy the domain though.
 
I still have fond memories of MyBB... Great to hear them have this success! Hopefully this more professional domain will bring them more support. 🙂

To all that have complaints about the donation bar or whatever you call it, they had to reach 5,000 pounds or dollars, two people already donated to that, and the rest of the money I think goes into the project I believe. Probably wrong though.

Their donation image screwed me up, I was like "How is that possible?".

Very professional now.

i really don't care that they got the mybb.com.... but i guess good job on begging for money that we already don't have. :great:
 
They have it but the still need like $200 to secure it. So that is why the donation is not full yet.

I'm happy they were able to get it. 🙂 Now it feels and looks more solid with MyBB.com, IMHO. I myself did a small 20-dollar donation to thank them for such an easy to use and quality-made forum software. I use it on my Gimp forums, and I'm very satisfied.
 
congratulations on mybb.com and all the donators.. it did seem a very high price for the .com but im sure it was all worth it 😀
 
It's a high price 'cause it's a premium domain name.

A domain name that has a most used keyword.

Oh... I found my reason from Godaddy... 😛

If I was the guy who owned mybb.com, I would create a forum out of it.
