As some of you may know i had an old gaming forum but it failed-Miserably.Promises from other users who promised that my forum would be 'Up and Running with users' by the start of June were broken and the same user who said he'd design a banner,I asked him a month later and he got very aggressive with me and said 'He'd lost his photoshop skill'.
So i've started again-Completely. The thing is now,I need a dedicated person who will be another Admin of the Forum and someone who can also make a banner for the site. The Forum is less than 24 hours old.I've not even finished adding everything in.
Craig no offense but a 24 hours forum that was made in my book, doesn't deserve to live and here is why.
- If you made a website and or forum/blog in 24 hours, Unless your someone like Damien and or Murder He Wrote than chances are it isn't unique etc..
- Also if you even finish a website in 24 hours it goes to show even if you did "put time" into it, There is no way you have a unique website even remotely close to being unique and or finished.
I understand that, you are using a free forum and are limited to what you can accomplish but that may be a good pointer to look else where maybe on a paid host and or a free web host with access to FTP and cPanel.
Plus that theme doesn't remind me of gaming one bit, May want to look into finding a better suited gaming template/theme that will draw in people's attention that theme you currently have actually drew me away it's way to weird colors put together.
Sorry for the harsh words about your website but a website made in 24 hours cannot be good.
I think criticism is the best encouragement ever. Yes no body in the world has a perfect website so being congratulated and hearing good things is always amazing, However the better encouragement is to find the faults and take those and make it even better.
He's been put down because if you scan through this forum section half of these "free websites" don't last more than a month, Which is why he will be put down by anyone on this website. If it doesn't look unique and or is on free web hosting these people don't have the best rep on keeping websites up on this website.
Well, sorry but it's true people on this forum who make free forums tend to not last as long and or just make another forum hoping it gets famous, which isn't the case. And enough with "bashing" in this topic, It'll just get locked if you keep going.
He doesn't have to answer to you. Nothing in the guidelines say you have to have a certain number of posts on your forum. He has just as much a right to advertise his site here as you do. As anyone does.
Looking down on someone because they're just starting out doesn't make you look good, it makes you look pompous and arrogant.
