Obama states that no person (astronauts) cannot go to the Moon anymore. Do you agree with his decision?

Why on earth not? Seems incredibly stupid and pointless.

Uhmm he might say they can't however no law has been made to put that into effect.

I do agree with his decision because why do astronauts need to go on the Moon. Cheese? jk

So you don't wanna know how the moon works and if someday we could live on it. Hell lets just shut down nasa and say hey we are fine. Who cares if there are other people out there.

Sheesh dude you are closed minded...

Why close down NASA? Their other planets that can still be used for research.

Also I'm just getting the "No Moon Trip" information from FOX News.

Last time i checked Obama didn't own the deed's the moon, outer space, our troposphere or stratosphere

And wouldn't NASA just launch it's rocket's and satellites on foreign soil, if a rule is passed in the US of A?

I think that's what they would do, I think if a law was passed, Russia would just do it.

It's the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, not the International Aeronautics and Space Administration.

I'm Fully Aware of it's name, but at the same time they wouldn't want to just sit there and watch the rest of the world continue with it's lunar research would it?

I don't know, like I said. I just got the info. from FOX News.

Fox News is notorious for having one of the worst conservative biases in existence. I don't trust them. They're a bunch of right-wing dingbats.

As for the matter at hand, continuing trips to the moon would be great for research and potential terra-forming. Granted, if that happens, war's probably going to break out over who gets what parts of the moon. Still, the only way we're going to expand our horizons is to explore, starting with what's closest.

(Also, something tells me Obama himself wasn't the one behind the cancellation. He's admitted to liking the space program, so I can't see why he'd cut it off. It was probably someone in his administration or congress, with him to take the undue blame. He's probably more upset than any of us that the program's getting canceled.)

That's the problem then.

It's probably a bunch of crap that fox made up, but if all else fails cosmonauts can still go to the moon 😛

No one ever said that Kirusute, it's just that FOX News stretches the truth and puts random crap on the TV just to make people hate the President.

If all conservatives were fox news than yeah that would be the case. Thankfully it's not.

Oh, I never said ALL conservatives are wackjobs...just the ones on Fox news (not that they're the only ones). I mean, I have a few conservative friends, and hell, most of my father's side of the family is conservative. I just don't talk about politics with them. I strongly disagree with them, but I don't think of them as wackjobs.
