This season is going to the wire at the end. Arsenal look like a top contender.

Never has the BPL been this close! I can honestly see 3 times winning the title right now, this time last year Man U had it in the bag already!

I can't remember the last time the Premier League was this open in terms of the top 4. 😱

From what I've seen so far this season, I'd say anyone in the top 4 could win it but I wouldn't rule out anyone in the top 7. 😛

The Premier League is set to return on Wednesday evening with two games, after a three-month break, due to the coronavirus.
Is anyone excited for its return?

News coming in last night that a Norwich player that was involved in their friendly v Spurs the other day has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Let’s hope that this will not affect Spurs v United on Friday. :/

Well, the season is back underway and to me, it feels like it has been quite a slow, sluggish start. It does not feel like there has been as many chances created or goals, but when the latter does come it is generally in a flurry. Games are slow to begin and a lot of first-half scores have been 0-0. I hope this is just as the players are getting used to playing again and building up fitness, as I personally feel that a similar thing happened with the German Bundesliga. Let's hope we are back to some exciting BPL action as soon as possible. 🙂

It’s been pretty boring tbh. Man City as usual acting like they aren’t effected by it all. I’ve been loving the bundesliga. At the weekend the amount of first half goals were insane for all the games!

What we thinking about Timo Werner going to Chelsea? Also who does everyone support so we know who to get violent at lol.

I don't think you have too many European soccer fans around here. This is more of a US based forum now. 😛

But seriously, Manchester United all the way. Might as well jump on that bandwagon. Also, we enjoyed having Rooney in the MLS for a year.

We will dig these fans out...They are lurking somewhere. 😛

I have been watching most of the games so far but the one match I did not watch was Man City vs Burnley. I thought with the way the league has gone so far and that neither teams really have anything to play for, that it would be a pretty mundane affair. I was definitely wrong there.

Sadly there is only one matchday left in the Bundesliga.

The league will get better, we just have to let the players settle in. They havent been playing for 3 months and for a sport which requires high physicality, they need to be playing often. Which is why injuries can be so damining as players arent playing often enough. The Italian and Spanish leagues arent that good either! Not that I have ever really rated their leagues. Full of divers and criers! Not like the prem league or bundesliga, physical!

@Cameron. The fact you even mentioned Man Utd is a farce and an outrage to me. YNWA!!!

There are only two games left in the season for each team after West Ham play Watford tonight.

Tbf, I would say the Prem is full of divers and criers too. Just look at Mo Salah for instance!

I would hardly say Mo is a diver! He gets marked by about 2-3 players down the right and each of them man handle him to the floor. Manè is if anything more of a diver. If you want a good example in the league though, look at Sterling.

Imagine being an arsenal supporter now. I feel bad for them tbh 😛

As a Villa fan, I am very fond of Arsenal right now! We beat them and then they beat Watford to help us.😉

Fair enough from your view. But as a Chelsea fan, it's kinda funny and weird to see them finish 8th.

It has been yet another strange season. For you as a Chelsea fan you must be pretty pleased overall, for finishing in the top 4 in this new Lampard era. Although I can understand if you are frustrated with not finishing 3rd.

It is quite good. Top 4 is definitely something that we should be happy with considering how many times it was mentioned that it would never be true with Lampard, a youth team and the "transfer ban". We should be able to do better next season.
