There is no law, not saying that you have said that but there is no law that there can only be 1 forum of each category, sports & recreation, RPG, promotion et cetera. I think perhaps some forums are overused but how many of these promotion forums become a success and offer different things - none. Forum Promotion is probably the only unique forum that offers the first ever services created, and how many gaming forums do you see with different things but allowing them to edit there profile to something customable. I myself can't speak for graphic designing as I do own and found my own graphics forum, but I try to make it the odd one out with adding different features and priviledges for members to enjoy and not abuse. But now how many general discussion forums do you see without having pretty much the same boards just a different organization.
I myself is taking to sides to this rant.
I agree with all of this.dotDavid said:Lawson+ said:Well my opinion is, the more the merrier as Midnight mentioned, as were would our forums be without those forums we have today. What? A very large assumption. FP wasn't the first promotion forum, and I highly doubt the services were first created here. It most likely derived from paid posting on forums, and reviews aren't unique at all.
Very true. It can be difficult to start up a community regardless of the subject, but as long as you make it as unique as you possibly can, then it should work.theezy said:It doesnt matter if an idea has been overdone or not. Each community is different and has different people / content.
