I'm having trouble with a new PC.
It crash's every morning about 8AM.
It crash's when you try to upload to the net.
It crash's when you click a link on the desktop.
It crash's when you click the downloads folder.
I have a pic of the crash I'll try to get it sometime.
I have tried MSE(microsoft security essentials), AVG, and Malware scan.
It displays a blue screen and says something crashed and dumps memory.

Anyone got an idea on how to fix it?

It sounds like your computer memory is bad, or it could also be your motherboard.

I used to have a computer which Bluescreen a lot till I took out when of the memory chips.

Does it crash when you are doing nothing?

Can you get a picture of the BSOD? Better yet the error code it presents.

From what you have already said the problem is either bad memory or a going bad hard drive.

To test your memory you can use memtest found here - http://www.memtest.org/

For testing your hard drive,I will need the manufacturer and model of it,so I can link you to the correct tool.

Thanks.
I have the pic on a SD card just need to find which one.
I'll post the info you need soon.

Can you try removing your RAM and replacing it again?
Did you make any changes before the crashing stated?

I'm going to have to say it would probably be your RAM. Did you recently put in new RAM chips or maybe try taking out one chip at a time and force crash it to see which chip it is.

I haven't installed anything at all in the PC (ram, hard drives and ect).

Still trying to get the pic.

I noticed you said you used, mse and avg?

Are they both currently installed and running?

If so you need to uninstall one of them. Running two real time protection anti virus programs can cause crashes, conflicts, and cause you to become more vulnerable to getting infected.

No I uninstalled.
I posted that when we thought it was a virus causing the crashes.

If you have two or more sticks of RAM, you can test each RAM stick individually by taking one out to see if it still causes Blue Screen errors.

Well considering this is a new pc, I'm assuming it did work at one point or another. I'd go back to basics and see if you can roll back to a restore point or even check your task manager and/or registry to see what programs are running on your start up. It sounds to me that something is running from the get go and causing the malfunction, just an idea. Usually it's always something simple that causes the problem. Give it a go, even as a process of elimination. I'd always check hardware last to be honest.

Bluescreens are usually caused by hardware problems. It could be anything, really. If you get the error code from the bluescreen, you can Google it (and post it here) to determine which piece of hardware is causing it. Right-click on My Computer, hit Properties, and go to Advanced System Settings (I'm assuming you have Windows 7). Then, under Startup and Recovery, go to Settings. Uncheck "Automatically restart" towards the bottom. This will stop your computer from restarting when it bluescreens so that you have time to write down the error code (or get a picture of it).
