The backup would probably have to come from the host side rather then your ACP as if there is an option to backup in your acp it is probably encoded so it can only be used on that host.

Hmm, I think i'll start a new forum (same name, same purpose) on prophpbb, just in case. Seeing as the host basically abandoned it. I don't mind starting all over again.
