Agreed. I think there's way less arrogant forum owners, admins, and even mods. But yeah since forum interest isn't quite there I too noticed less of this.

I'm sure there's still aggressiveness on very niche forums, but since forums aren't as popular as they once were it's very slim. I think members leave after a while because they get bored with forums or life just gets in the way most times nowdays.

I have never asked the members on my forum why they sted being active, however, when I stop being active on some forums it is usually because the forum does not provide new topics for discussion, the community becomes hostile, or there aren't many members.
