Have never tried reddit for advertising?

I tried but not get much success, i simply posted my links there and got few visitors. As of my experience i know it can work lot more better but really i don't know how.
If you know something which can help me plz share i will be very thanks full to you!!

Most people are on reddit because it's the biggest anonymous social media site now. I doubt it will bring people from its site to you unless you offer something very niche/unique.

thanks for advice. Can we use Reddit for eCommerce sites as well?

Reddit is one of the best ways to advertise. You can't just link to your homepage though. However, linking to a specific page or article can work wonders. Personally, I use it for my YouTube channel. Even just by getting on the Front Page of a specific subreddit (not even the site as a whole) you can get thousands upon thousands of views.

For example, I posted a video of my brother's reaction when I gave him a virtual gift in an online videogame. That video got around 20,000 views overnight.

Another video of my friend's that I shared in the /r/ASMR subreddit got 30,000 views overnight.

I could give many examples of my own success, but instead I'll give you one tip to avoid failure. If you wouldn't click your Headline if it belonged to someone else's website, don't post it.

Reddit advertising can be amazing if it's done right. You have to abide by a ton of rules and regulations that each subreddit and even more so the main Reddit has. I plan to do it for my new site, but as I said you have to be careful how you go about it. Since Reddit allows multi-registering. It may be best to make another account to do so. Main reason to make another account is to make it least obvious as possible to be caught advertising your own website and people can catch on sometimes.

Especially if you're sharing any form of information on Reddit, subreddits.

Honestly, just spend some time on Reddit to get used to the rules and the way they post/speak. I'm a "Redditor" so advertising on the site comes natural to me. It's not nearly as intimidating of a site as people make it out to be.

Reddit is an important social networking website to Bookmark ,but you will have to share your post in appropriate sub-Reddit.

Yes, finding relevant subreddits is definitely important. If anyone here on FP needs help finding an appropriate subreddit, hit me up. I have a lot of experience on Reddit as both a regular member and an advertiser. I have used Reddit to accumulate over a million external page views for my clients, myself, friends and family.

One easy way to do this is to go to Google or your favorite search engine and look up "Reddit niche". For example, "Reddit Zelda" will show links to subreddits relevant to Zelda, on Reddit. If you aren't sure of what to specifically look for you can make it more general. For example, searching "Reddit cool websites" shows relevant subreddits such as Useful Websites and also Internet is Beautiful (for sharing useful websites).

I tried a little and it got a few members I think - they didn't stay active though. I may try again here in the future though 😱 I definitely agree try to make it related to the topic though otherwise people will ignore you or could join your forum and just spam your forum.

I never thought about using Reddit, although in any cases Reddit is very similar to forums but a tad more about what is current vs. what all of what everyone has to say. Not sure that you could bring over a ton of members, but would help to promote your website for sure.

I have never advertised on Reddit, I always use facebook ads, I think you should use it like me

How do you find your Facebook ads for getting click throughs? It always seems to be one of the better media platforms to advertise on.

I've used reddit for several sites, and it all really depends on the type of site that will determine if you will benefit from it. I've tried articles on my gaming website, free game giveaway links, etc. Nothing. However, for my main website which is based on a game making program. On the subreddit for that program, all of my links tend to get first page after a little while of posting the link, as they are for plugins and resources for the program. It really all depends on the site your advertising, and what it will do for the members, much like any other advertisement procedure.

Can someone please explain to me how you promoted your forum on Reddit? I still cant post any links on Reddit even though I have been on the site for awhile. Is there a way you guys bypass this block of links because I dont see exactly what qualifications I need to post links anywhere on Reddit.

I tried and still doing to create best post even participated to others post, no one replied no post to my post.

I saw many posts with 10+ comments and likes, may be my posts are not searched by more people.

But I'm pretty sure i wouldn't' want to attract that kind of audience to my site/forum 😛
