I never was a fan of running, not sure why just never was. I like doing long walks and since I live in the country, I got a lot of room to roam around. 🙂
A quick run in the morning is always awesome, I've only recently started to do it since I moved to university but it just makes your entire day better.
Even got some of my room-mates coming out for runs too.
I run 2-3 times a week, more or less depending on what I am doing or how it fits into my schedule. Lately I am trying for 3 runs/week minimum and it has worked well. I either run early in the morning before work or anytime later in the afternoon... like 5-8'ish' PM.
