I'm starting to see more advertisements around Duck Duck Go and Bing however, even after trying both search engines I find that I still much prefer Google. I don't know if it's because they have such established algorithm technology in place but I just find it so each to find what I'm searching for using Google. As a kid I remember using Yahoo! however, I remember my digital world just expanding quite a bit more at the discovery of Google. Which is your search engine preference?

I was a big yahoo fan long ago however Google is still my go to.

Nothing can match Google's ability to give " close to what you are searching " results. But I occasionally use Bing, for fun.

How is your experience with DuckDuckGO in general? A few people I know told me that it is hard to find what they are looking for.

I think it is time to give DuckDuckGo a try. I have tried it before, but Google search is very attractive to those who are using it regularly. 🙂

Give it a go and let us know what you think about it. 👍

Yeah, Google is a good search engine. There is no question about it. But I don't like their monopoly. And I don't like to give up all my personal information to an ad-company. And I don't like the idea of having personalized search results. That's why I use alternative search engines.

Not like you have a choice or option anymore, you have to go with the big boys and Google is always your number one shop to you drop 🙂

I've always used Google. I can't think of any other search engine provider that I've actually used.

You guys must be young... I remember when Google didn't even exist. We managed just fine. I'm sure if Google didn't have a search engine monopoly, they would have been replaced by another, better search engine by now.

I use Google because it's my default...but more and more I'm finding that Google is swayed a bit and the information I seek isn't available, even though I know it should be. So DuckDuckGo saves the day and gives me the sites that I'm hoping to find with the content that answers my questions.

I prefer DuckDuckGo. Google tends to sell your info & is biased. I do admit tho, it does take me a bit longer when I use DDG but the safety & security is important to me.

DuckDuckGo, personally. I use google for backup but I prefer ddg as I don’t feel tracked. That or the brave search that they are coming out with. Seems pretty good.

Even if Google is far more larger and get more traffic from google

Google for me. Has the best search results and I've just never had any problems with them.
