Should all forums be age restricted ?

The point is, my forum is generated towards gamers(not kids),teenagers,BlazBlue Fans and adults.

A kid would ruin all of that and would take the forum's rep down some too, plus people would probably be asking "Srsly, are you underage?" or something like that.

It's funny how the points you make seem to destroy your argument. It just goes back to you not liking kids for no real reason other than them being young.

Plus, they usually use poor grammar and ask pointless stuff like "What game is this from?" "Where do I buy this game" or "What is this game?" and plus the words "fuck" and "shit" are common on my forum.

Plus when I was talking about a female character from a fighting game, I made comments like this in my review-like post:

I do appreciate the "skimpy" outfit

and this:

and notably, you can see some "underboob" in the Astral Finish(sorry, I pull out this pervertness sometimes, when talking about a female character.. 😛 ).

You know, most of the userbase here is in that age range (12-17). However, I have not seen any trolling recently.

Also, was it not you who came to FP, tried to promote your site, asked for people's comments and suggestions, then you threw those suggests back in our faces, were rude to us, you constantly broke the FP bumping rules, and got yourself banned for a while. And you don't think you are a kid?????

Go back to school and you'd probably find some 12 year olds are more mature than you and you'd probably find that a lot of them ARE in to gaming.

You posted a while back saying how could a kid help your forum..... the hardest thing for a new forum is to get it active and get people posting...... the people most likely to be active initially are younger people as more adult people would join in when there is something worth discussing. If you wanna turn away a big proportion of forumers then so be it.

But don't call kids trolls when you trolled this forum yourself. Don't be ignorant. Don't be arrogant.
Don't think you are better than a 12 year old kid.

Well it's a psychological thing I seem to suffer from, mostly due to trolling and shizz on some forums in the past, I act mature sometimes and immature the next, I'm still a bit of a kid inside, but I have a age limit on my forum, because what was it someone said at the first post?

15 is the best age. Little kids are annoying sometimes.

The age limit is on my forum, because of various content on my forum, that is not appropriate for children, common use of strong language, and the fact my game will contain blood and gore.

Seriously guys, it's an age restriction, not a limit. A limit is something you can't go over, like a speed limit. So anyone over 13 would be banned by your words.

They aren't banned, they can't register if they are not 13 or over, specifically a warning.

Most kids see blood and gore and bad language AT school.

You also said kids would become annoying because of their constant questions..... so I guess this is the sort of impression you don't want to give off.......... people ask questions on your forum (activity), the Administrator or others reply with a helpful well thought out answer (activity), and people that visit the forums will see that and think it's a good place to be and they may find answers to questions that they have and if not then they know they'll get a response if they ask.

So you don't want that sort of "good" impression about your forum?

I see you haven't grown up since you were banned.

Also there isn't really a proper age restriction as 12 years old or younger can still join your forum. Maybe you just don't want to be shown up by a 12 year old that is smarter than you. :shrug:

Hey everyone, this topic is getting to far off the original topic and to many arguments are branching out. Please get back on topic, stop the arguments, and stick to the original argument, "Should all forums be age restricted?"

Post your point, debate about others points, but stop relating it to individual websites.

Here's the thing, okay. I don't mind answering questions asked by teenagers or adults, but I'm not going to answer much of any pointless questions made by a little kid

No, there is various inappropriate content on my forum.
Plus, kids won't be able to get some of the jokes on my forum, which usually are sarcastic(and only teenagers and adults and can get sarcasm.)
