Should I go ahead and buy this forum?

Hello,

I say a forum auction in DP, and was interested in buying it, but I want to get some opinion from you guys because it is kinda like this forum, and also I saw some member from this site on that that forum too.

Its was a good Forum with a Great design. If you promote well, you will have a good forum running. Did he give the theme too with it? I think its a custom one from Audentio, so its really worth.

Not worth $60 imo but it would be a nice investment, i have chucked a few of my free themes out onto that forum and i advertise there 🙂

For some reason the owner of this forum has responded to any questions asked during the sale session. He didn't even verified the domain ownership. Hopefully, its not a scam 😉

Ask him to verify ownership before you buy it. There are a lot of scammers in DP.

I would not buy it. I would only buy a forum that I know can take off. I honestly think that as long as you know what your doing, you should be able to make the forum take off. Just pay attention to the forum and make sure everything is smoothly running and run contests and giveaways and stuff like that.

That site is honestly not worth $60 of my money. haha. The userbase is not that large. If it had a couple hundred members I would consider it.

Not my decision though so you know.

Eh. As long as you did not buy it, you should have nothing to worry about. Spend your money on a website with an active userbase. 😀 I took a few good looks at the website and it looks exactly like another promotion forum which is not what the www needs. 😀 Good luck on getting this resolved.

The fact that he may have bailed out on it probably true. But there are alot of losers out there that do that all the time. They are not happy with how much it really went for, so they just back out of it.

Haha. Just think about how crappy that website is and spend $25 on a REAL website. There are plenty of them out there.

Anyway, probably a good thing you haven't paid up front at all yet, otherwise it probably would've been a scam had the person taken the money from you but then sold the database to someone else. This is why I don't trust buying or selling anything on forums for real money... too many scammers out there.
