Speak properly!

You will not find me using leet\chat speak or improper grammar....ever. The furthest I will ever go into chat speak is text emotes. You can expect me to make some spelling mistakes. But I prefer to speak like I'm intelligent rather than speaking like a fool.

Well, I can't say that I like chat speak too much either. But I don't mind it. I expect my Staff Members to use excellent grammar if their job requires it however.

For instance. I really wouldn't care at all if one of my Graphics Team Members spoke with quite a bit of chat on the forums, so long as they make excellent graphics (and as long as the chat speak does not spill into graphics)
For people like my Gaming Reviewers, I expect them to use excellent grammar within their reviews. But when they aren't on the job, it's fine if they resort to chat speak at times.
Now, however, for my Global Moderators/Community Team. If they offer community support/posting with chat speak, I'm going to be very displeased.

To summarize. I don't like it. But I'll deal with it no problem. And my staff may resort to it so long as they use it at the proper times.

I could probably be one of the grammar Nazi. Although sometimes I made mistakes when I feel like really tired.

Hey now when you are tired it's hard concentrate on what you are typing. 😛 The only time I have ever had grammar/ spelling mistake is in the making of graphics tutorial. I often miss a letter. I always come back to check on it later though.

How about foreign languages:

Ich Sprechen sie Deutsch

Congratulations on speaking the German.

And bad German at that:

Sprechen is the infinitive. Conjugate it as follows:

Ich spreche Deutsch
Du sprichst Deutsch
Er/sie/es spicht Deutsch
Wir sprechen Deutsch
Ihr sprecht Deutch
Sie/Sie sprechen Deutch

As you can sie the ''du'' and the ''er'' forms (second and third person) are irregular.

Anyway, ''Ich sprechen sie Deutsch'' makes no sense. ''I to speak you German''. German is very logical and the general format of the sentence is: subject - verb - object (''svo'' if you want). Ich (subject) spreche (verb) Deutsch (object).

Most of the time, individuals turn into grammar Nazis because they are insecure about their own language skills. (This insecurity is often subconscious.)

Not really. I just hate reading piles and piles of 1337. I don't think any of us mind if someone uses ''to'' instead of ''too''. When people get plain sloppy I have difficulty understanding them and get annoyed.

Not really,

You are wrong, Sprechen does not always mean "to speak", when used after a verb it is simply "speak" I believe

To be honest, it seems like you just used Babelfish. Try telling that to someone (me) who lived in a German household for 5 years, and taking 10 years of German.

Babel fish came out with this if I put, "I am speaking German."
Ich spreche Deutsches!
English of TPP's post
I speaking it German
Grammar fail! xD
