I read today that Hollywood is hoping this film will reverse its decent into obscurity. From what I've seen and read I highly doubt that it will. 'Krypto the Superdog', really?
If the movie industry wants to survive it needs to start taking risks again. It needs to except that Marvel has been done to death and start looking for scripts that offer something new and unexpected.

Yeah both Marvel and DC are taking a hit. Marvel may be safe because RDJ is coming back as a villain this time but it'll be interesting to see how DC comes back from the backlash it's had over the last few years.
I really would love to see what Nicholas Hoult is like as Lex though. Nicholas Hoult is a really good actor.
I loved Kevin Spacey as Lex until the stuff came out about him. If I think of the character rather than the actor I'll still choose Kevin. I just don't like him personally.
It is so refreshing to see Superman have an actual physical reaction to the hit he takes. He actually got the wind knocked out of him. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that. He may be the man of steel, but I need to see a reaction to being shot out of the sky.

Me neither. DC just doesn't hit me the way Marvel does.
Not surprising, especially given the fact they can't keep things straight. Which... Pretty much like the comics with the reboots every 5 to 10 years.
They tried with Black Adam and Blue Beetle, neither apparently did well.
I'm just done with them overall. That whole thing with Ezra Miller was the last straw.

Wow! That's bad on so many levels. The cinematography is appalling, it looks like a cartoon in places. My PC does better CGI!.
They really haven't hyped this movie up like other DC films. I only heard about it in December and have barely heard anything about it. Very disappointed 🙁
James Gunn from Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy recently took over DC and it was the one thing he wanted to start with to give his take on the character.
It's the first movie to have Krypto in it and I love what they've done with the dog.
