I think that America (and probably other countries too) should have a flat tax. This would mean that the government takes x percent of everyone's income equally and nothing else. That would be the only tax in existence, a flat tax rate at about 15%, give or take 5 percent. The reasoning:
As things are right now, you have to ask The Man for permission for everything business related. We need less taxation and less red tape to make things simpler.

- People would not be taxed a higher percentage for innovation. This would mean that if you make more money you keep more money.
- Tax code is so damn confusing. We need a simple tax code, not a complex one where almost everything is taxed. You pay the government x percent of your income. Nothing else!
- It'd make people get up off of their rear ends and actually do something with their lives.
- People with more money than others -- I'm talking small business owners -- would have more money to invest into their business.
