The US celebrates its Thanksgiving this year on Thursday, November 23. Let's chat about it!

We rarely have turkey on Thanksgiving because my husband's family is Italian and they prefer homemade ravioli. I won't be making that for Thanksgiving (we'll do it for Christmas instead...it's a 3 day process) and we'll have lasagna and garlic bread instead.

What are your Thanksgiving plans?

My dad's side is Italian. Love raviolis.

I went to get groceries (for the Thanksgiving meal) this morning, and the power went out at the store. Everyone stood there in the dark not knowing what to do. Thankfully the power came back on and after I checked out, it started to flicker once again.

We had that issue a bunch of times when we were remodeling Walmarts, back when they were still open 24 hours.

Pretty crazy walking around a pitch black Walmart that probably had 100+ people in the building.

I'm finally home after being at my dad's house this week. It's a long drive, but we had a nice trip and the food I made was awesome!!
