In mammals, the adrenal glands (also known as suprarenal glands) are endocrine glands that sit atop the kidneys; in humans, the right suprarenal gland is triangular shaped, while the left suprarenal gland is semilunar shaped. They are chiefly responsible for releasing hormones in response to stress through the synthesis of corticosteroids such as cortisol and catecholamines such as epinephrine. The adrenal glands affect kidney function through the secretion of aldosterone, a hormone involved in regulating the osmolarity of blood plasma.
In Conner's case the tumour has wrapped it's self around his left kidney so on Monday during his surgery they are not wasting their time and will be removing both the tumour and the kidney in one go so they get good clear margins, the operation has further complications because the tumour is also wrapped around two main arteries in his groin which another surgeon optimistically thinks the tumour can be removed from.

We have another charity night planned tonight, there is a Battle of The Bands event where 13 live bands will compete against each other to win the title of greatest band, it should be a great night and one of the prizes in the raffle is a Ferrari day out on a race track......I'll post up so pix for you all to see tomorrow 🙂
I want to donate to this cause and I even went to my paypal for donating to the cause but guess what I just found out.
'Indian paypal accounts can no longer send online money to anyone, the sending amount will be deducted from their bank account. They can only withdraw their collected funds from paypal from now on.'
We Indians didn't had the privilege of gift already and now no mroe transfers very nice. I am sorry I can't donate at the moment but if that paypal account is going to be kept alive then I will donate as soon as I get something in my bank account.
