The Conner Robinson Appeal

Great news MissTake I am glad to hear he is doing so well
I hope he will be home soon and driving his family up the wall which is something kids love to do

Yes masses of news!

Conner is home, One week and a day after 11 hours surgery!!!

....and he doesn't need his NG tube any more, he's eating and drinking all by himself :cheer:

The next big thing will be in a couple of weeks when he has the deadly MAT block and stem cell replacement...but for now he's doing amazingly well and enjoying a normal couple of weeks at home with his family 😉

It's great that he's home again, but I don't envy that boy at all. It must be horrible to have to live through all that treatment, especially for a child. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. 🙁 I hope everything works out well.

Glad to hear Conner is doing great and I hope it continues, it's horrible for a child to have to live a life like that but great to hear it's getting better. 🙂

Thanks guys 🙂

Believe it or not although it's tougher to see a baby go through it it does actually make a difference because a child knows nothing about consequences or long term prognosis or depression, their only instinct is to survive, they don't give up or feel depressed like an adult would which strangely enough gives them a better fighting chance.

I saw Conner this weekend he was down for our BBQ, eating hot-dogs and pinching all my tomatoes and cucumber LOL

Great to hear he is doing well fingers crossed every thing keeps going well for him

Sorry to hear. I'm gonna donate 2 dollars tomorrow morning and he'll always will be in my prayers.

I have to give a shout out to Infinite Jest for his donation too, thank you 🙂

Thanks TR 😉

Here are a few new pictures for you to see just how well he's doing right now 😉

I havent been able to add it as of yet, I am going to add it to the general chat section as a side banner and I'll have a redirect forum somewhere 🙂

OK thanks TR, every little helps 🙂

I forgot to add, Conner is back on his NG tube for feeding, he's eating but they want him to maintain all the weight he's put on already 😉

I've just received another paypal payment from Paine, not sure if you're reading this but "Thank You" I can't send a personal email as there's no address? Your generosity is truly touching, we are highly appreciative x 🙂

So the best possible thing that can happened to him after the surgery is being deaf?

The next round of treatment could very well leave him partially deaf yes, the intensive chemo he will receive will kill off not only his cancer cells but his entire organs too, the stem cell replacement has a window of 2 weeks to multiply enough to save the vital organs from dying - hence this bit being the most critical part of the treatment, any damage to the ears can not be reversed? It's a very big risk, but one that must be taken to try to help save his life, without it the cancer can very easily come back quickly. 🙁

I would like to wish Conner and his family well for today, he's back down BCH for his MAT block and stem cell replacement, this is an unpleasant procedure and may very very make Conner quite unwell for a time so all your thoughts and prayers are much needed again.

I've heard some amazing news but I'll wait until I get the full details before telling you all, if what I've heard is correct then it's a huge step forward and will help improve his chances immensely 🙂
